<hi style=afpcap>Seen from directly above, this Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter reveals its wedge shape and its many angled (or "faceted") surfaces, designed to deflect radar beams. This "Black Jet" is operated by the 8th Fighter Squadron, which was nicknamed the "Black Sheep" decades before the F-117 came along. The squadron flies with the 49th Fighter Wing at Holloman AFB, New Mexico.</hi>
